Unfortunately there is very little to report in this part of the world these days. That seems to be the way January is, I think--lots of sleeping, back to work, etc.
But, a few weekends before Christmas, Kenda and Emma came up for some shopping and ice skating, so I can talk about that. Emma was a little nervous on the ice at first--as were we all!--but before long she was having fun. We capped the evening off with a viewing of "Wall-E" and some sushi back at our house. (And Blaine and I did the "Waaall-Eeee" and "Eeeva" voices at each other for weeks afterwards!)
