Christmas and Traveling over...now on to the next challenge.

The Eichhorns are home from Christmas and skiing. We left Dayton the day after the biggest single day of snow that Dayton has ever recorded, 16 inches. It took us 4 hours to go about 50 miles. 70 was a parking lot due to veihicles stuck in snow or jackknifed on the roads. We also helped push two cars out of the snow on 70. We were very pleased to have an all-wheel drive Honda or we would have been one of those cars stuck in the snow.
We finally made it to the Allmonds after about 14 hours. In spite of the bad beginning we had a great Christmas. It was good seeing mom and dad and everyone else. Carolyn and Dennis were great hosts, they had a houseful and they didn't even seem to mind. On the 27th we then left for Skiing with David's brothers and their families in Steamboat Springs Col. There was good skiing, even though the locals kept asking for more snow ( they might get some this week). David, Megan and Brian skied 3 days. I skied 1, On the off day we all went Ice skating and shopping in Steamboat. The drive home was long and we are glad to be home, but we drove home with out snow which was a blessing.

Now, the next challenge. David and I are moving to Hanscom AFB near Boston. We are glad we are going to be close to Stacy, but we will be leaving Megan and Brian here so they can continue going to school. We are still in the process of making their arrangements so I will keep you posted.

Our new address is as of Jan 31 will be:
4 Andrews Circle
Hanscom AFB, MA 01731
Phone and new e-mail will come later.

Hope all of you have a great new year.
Anita
