Well as previously discussed David and I went to Boston for David to attend a conference and for me to see Stacy & Lewis. We had a good time and we were able to avoid major crowds of Sox fans. The airplane did burst into cheers when the Sox were mentioned. So we were able to experience a little of the Boston Joy.
We went on to Fresno by way of San Francisco. A nice airport but difficult to get out of quickly. David is now the 2004 Top Dog Alumni of the college of engineering and computer science of Fresno State University. The awards ceremony dinner was very nice, the next day David spoke to engineering students and we had a tour of the college. It was the first time he had been there. When he received his masters he attended the satellite campus at Edwards AFB. All in all I think it was a great honor and we had a good time.
